        Ages 6/8 & under: 1 day tournament - Saturday only
        Ages 10/12/14/16/18/20 & under : 2 day tournament - Saturday AND Sunday

      • 2 Junior Varsity Sections based on grade & rating:
        10 & under u500; 20 & under u800 - 1 day tournament - Sunday only

        Jan 2020 Supplement ratings will be assigned to players

        Sections are based on Age as of 9/1/2019.
        Examples: DOB 9/2/08 (age 10) can play in Ages 10 & under (or higher). DOB 9/1/08 (age 11) can play in Ages 12 & under (or higher section)  
      • Per USCF Scholastic regulation:

        13.2.2.1 Pre-School players are allowed to play for the school they plan to attend. The parents/coach/guardian of the pre-schooler shall obtain a “Letter of Authorization” signed by a senior administrator of the school to document their player's eligibility to participate as part of the school’s team. In this letter, the senior administrator shall verify that the player would attend the school if the player were old enough. The player/parents/coach/guardian should bring this letter to the tournament and be ready to provide it to US Chess if requested.
