Unrated players’ rating is 0 the board order (unless the TDs assign them ratings).
Unrated players are omitted when computing the players’ average rating to determine the team rating.
A team with multiple players with same rating (including unrated) may choose any order, but then they must sit in the same order.
A team with multiple players with same rating may choose any order, but then they must sit in the same order.
Alternates must be lower-rated than regular team members.
If player(s) are missing from the lineup, lower-rated teammates MUST move up to preserve the rating order; only the last (lowest-rated) board(s) may forfeit any game(s).
Additional Playing Conditions
Unrated players do not count in their team's rating average.
Player(s) on the team may ask their team Captain about the consequences of a draw for the team’s match.
The Captain may respond to the request without looking at the player’s game.
The Captain may not impose results on their player(s); each player is responsible for their game.
Check wall charts for accuracy after every round and to report any discrepancies to the TD.
